Early Closings
On several occasions, Denver Botanic Gardens and Chatfield Farms will close early to host a Gardens special event, or for maintenance.
York Street 2024 Early Closures
The Annuals Garden, featuring tulips, will be closed during these times.
Please plan your tulip viewing around these hours.
Saturday, April 27, closed from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Thursday, May 2, closed from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday, May 3, closed from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday, May 4, closed from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
The majority of the tulips are located in the Annuals Garden; however, tulips are scattered throughout the Gardens and the tulip beds in front of the Bonfils-Stanton Visitor Center and Freyer – Newman Center along York Street don’t require admission to see.
York Street gardens will close early on these dates.

Closures Due to Holidays
Denver Botanic Gardens (York Street and Chatfield Farms) and Plains Conservation Center are closed on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Administrative offices are also closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day and Labor Day.

*Do you have your parking permit? It is important for all Gardens' York Street neighbors to have a current parking permit during our Summer Concert Series, Blossoms of Light and for other certain special events to avoid getting a ticket.
