Volunteer Sept. 5-Oct. 26 at the Corn Maze 

Volunteers are needed to help on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays at the Corn Maze located at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield.

  • Ticket takers - collect tickets & hand-stamp guests at the entrance to the maze
  • Bridge patrollers - ensure guests are following rules and regulations as well as answering visitor's questions about the maze 

Volunteer shifts are 4 to 5-1/2 hours and volunteers must be 16 years or older. Volunteer by yourself, or with your family or friends.

Volunteer Saturday, October 11 or Sunday, October 12 at the Pumpkin Festival

Volunteers are needed to help out at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield in a variety of areas including:
  • Pumpkin Patch Cashiers
  • Pumpkin Measurers
  • Children’s Activities
  • Entrance Cashiers
  • Beverage Booth Assistant
  • And many more!

Volunteer shifts are 3-5 hours. Individuals and volunteer groups are welcome. Volunteers must be 16 years or older.

Especially for kids: Get your hands dirty in the soil station!

It's a fact: The alligator drum and giant amadinda are musical instruments made from plants.

Botanical interest: Children are encouraged to interact with plants, including smelling fragrant chives (Allium schoenoprasum), touching lamb’s ear (Stachys byzantina) and soft artemisia (Artemisia schmidtiana ‘Silver Mound’).
